About the school
The school is SECULAR. The following subjects are being taught Hindi, Sanskrit, English, geography, math, history, science, general knowledge, human ethics.
The students take Government exams every year. After year 10 the students continue at the Government High School.
The school supports the children with school uniforms, school materials, shoes and clothes for the winter. All the children are also issued with ID-cards. They also have an annual health check.
The school has children aged 3-15 years old. In the afternoon special classes for 9 and 10 grade are available to deepen the knowledge in English, math, science and biology.

We need your support
Most of the expenses are met through donations by pilgrimage tourists (October-March) visiting the area, and the odd extra support.
The school has a couple of longtime supporters who cover the costs of the teachers and some miscellaneous expenses.
A publisher in Delhi is kindly offering the schoolbooks.
But more donations are needed to improve the quality of the education by getting better teachers. There are needs for laptops. The school premises needs maintenance. There is also a great wish for a school van to bring the children to and from school. Many of them walk 4-5-6 km to get to and from school.
